About Sensitive Soul Pet Care & Animal Naturopathy

Animal naturopathy (holistic or natural animal care) is an approach to animal health that focuses on supporting the body’s natural ability to self heal using safe, non-invasive, natural therapies.

Main focus:

  • Holistic animal therapy without the need for conventional drugs or surgery

  • Based on the premise that nature governs health & its laws - balance between species, natural nutrition, pure water, unpolluted fresh air, sun exposure, rest & sleep

  • When the body deviates from this balance, naturopathy uses natural remedies like plants, herbs, flower essence, minerals & essential oils to stimulate the body’s ’self healing’ mechanism

Based on a similar concept to human naturopathy - looking at the whole of the animal (diet, environment, stress, lifestyle) rather than only treating symptoms. Animal naturopathy can also be integrated with veterinary medicine.

Therapies used in a personalised plan:

A mix of of natural treatments are used, such as-

Herbal medicine– plant-based remedies personalised to the animal
Nutrition & Diet therapy– appropriate diets, supplements & herbs for the individual animal
Bach Flowers– diluted flower essences with specific energies & doses,
restoring harmonious vibration - highly effective on animals since 1930’s
Energy therapy & Reiki– a healing energy transfer, freeing from psychological wounds. Restores environmental energy, immune system & quality of life
Animal healing touch therapy/Massage- stabilises the nervous system, reduces behavioural issues caused by fear or anxiety, & aids in rehabilitation
EFT tapping- addresses emotional causes or energetic disturbances on specific energetic pathways
Aromatherapy & Phytotherapy – essential oils & plant-derived medicine
Lifestyle adjustments– exercise, stress reduction, environment changes to improve health

All holistic treatments are safe, non-invasive, drug-free & not tested on animals

What it’s used for:

-Improving general wellbeing & prevention
-Restoring balance & peace in an animals state of mind
-Treating trauma, fears & boosting optimism
-Chronic conditions (e.g Arthritis, skin issues, digestive problems)
-Healing Behavioural issues linked to stress or environment
-Supporting recovery
-Targeting specific symptoms

AS AN ANIMAL NATUROPATH, I DO NOT:
-Make any diagnosis
-Give advice based on such a diagnosis
-Give any medical or surgical treatment to animals
-Perform surgical operations on animals

ANIMAL NATUROPATHY ARE FOR PET OWNERS WHO:
-Can commit to their pets wellness plan
-Who have a desire to learn about holistic healing, are keen to participate in their pets wellness & long-term health
-Not for those after a quick fix, as natural treatments can take longer due to healing the cause rather than symptoms only, however health & energy improvements are observed sooner

What to expect:

I work collaboratively with pet parents that wish to prevent or treat disease in their pet, to avoid health and behaviour disorders. We discuss the pets health, diet, lifestyle & environment, as well as plan to take a proactive role in prevention by supporting the outcome the pet parents are after long term.

As a specialised animal healer: I connect with & understand animals on a whole other plane, as well as have had over a decade of unique and intricate experience working and living with many different breeds & species.

I look deeply at the entirety of the animal - and am able to identify the vitamin & mineral deficiencies the animal is experiencing. I also detect specific emotional and energetic blockages or imbalances in the home and within the connection between animal & human.

Over the years, many have said they wish there was something else they could try for their pet rather than just harsh drugs & conventional medicine..
Which has led me to continually study & offer animal naturopathy and healing therapies - to build awareness of the benefits of proper animal nutrition, genuine connection & treating, then preventing the root cause of a behaviour disorder or emotion.

Important: It is unsafe to attempt animal naturopathy treatments without professional guidance - it is always best to consult a certified & trained animal naturopath for accurate dosages.
